We hope that the following information will help clear up any questions that you may have about Rob Barbers bodyboard coaching.
Who can learn to bodyboard?
Literally anybody, as long as you can swim. If you’re younger than eight you need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian as well. The upper age limit is open to anybody that feels they fancy a go. The lessons are pitched at a suitable level for each persons ability. Our coaching caters for complete novices that have never been in the sea before all the way up to professional standard riders. Our team of coaches includes European bodyboard champ Lisa Cutts.
Where do you hold lessons?
The bodyboard school is based in Newquay. We have our own centre on Headland Road, Newquay, click here for the location. We use either Fistral or the Newquay bay beaches depending on the conditions on any given day.
How much do they cost?
A single bodyboard lesson costs £30. They last for approximately two hours, included in the price is instruction, insurance and equipment. The more lessons that you book, and the more people in the group the cheaper the price becomes, please click here for our prices.
